Dartmouth employers who can hire from abroad.
17 employers in Dartmouth are designated under Atlantic Immigration Program, which lets them hire a foreign worker without a Labour Market Impact Assessment.
None of these Dartmouth employers is advertising a role on our board today. The ones with nothing posted still matter: designation belongs to the employer, so they can hire a foreign worker whenever they next need someone. Confirm any employer on the official registry linked beside it before you rely on it.

Common questions
What is a designated employer?
An employer approved by a province or community to hire foreign workers through a specific immigration program — the Atlantic Immigration Program, or a Rural or Francophone Community Immigration Pilot. Designation is granted to the employer, not to a particular job, so a designated employer can make an offer whether or not they currently have a posting up.
Do these employers have jobs open right now?
Most do not on any given day, and the directory says which ones do. That is the point of listing employers rather than only postings: an employer with nothing advertised this week can still hire next month, and knowing who is eligible lets you approach them directly instead of waiting for a listing.
Is this list official?
No. It is compiled from the official provincial and community registries and every entry links back to the government page it came from. Designation lists change and employers come off them, so confirm an employer on the official registry before you rely on it.
Do I need to live in the community to use these employers?
For the Rural and Francophone Community Immigration Pilots, the pathway is tied to living and working in that specific community, so location matters. The Atlantic Immigration Program works across the four Atlantic provinces. An immigration professional can tell you which applies to your situation — Job Scout finds the jobs and writes the résumés, it does not give immigration advice.
