Immigrate to Canada.
Find work under your immigration pathway.
Pathway-specific job search guidance for Express Entry, PNPs, RCIP, AIP, LMIA work permits, and francophone mobility. Job Scout helps with the job hunt — we refer to licensed consultants for the immigration filing itself.

What is RCIP (Rural Community Immigration Pilot)?
RCIP is a Canadian permanent residence pathway that lets 14 designated rural communities recommend foreign workers — if they hold a job offer from a local designated employer.
What is the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)?
AIP is a permanent pathway for skilled workers and international graduates with a job offer from a designated employer in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, or Newfoundland and Labrador.
What is an LMIA?
A Labour Market Impact Assessment is a document an employer obtains to prove no Canadian is available for the role, allowing them to hire a foreign worker on a work permit.
What is Express Entry?
Canada's federal points-based permanent residence system. Candidates enter a pool, are ranked by a Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS), and the highest scores are invited to apply in biweekly draws.
What is the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)?
Each Canadian province runs its own immigration stream to nominate candidates for permanent residence based on local labour needs. A PNP nomination adds 600 CRS points to an Express Entry profile.
What is the Francophone Mobility Program?
A work permit stream (LMIA-exempt) for French-speaking foreign workers destined for jobs outside Quebec. It's fast, open, and often overlooked by non-Quebec newcomers.
How do you get a job in Canada with no Canadian experience?
Localize your resume to Canadian format, translate credentials to NOC codes, target employers who hire newcomers, and prioritize smaller employers where referrals matter more than brand filters.
How do you write a Canadian resume as a newcomer?
Strip your international resume of photo, DOB, and marital status. Add Canadian spelling, translate credentials, map each role to a NOC code, and lead with achievements using North American action verbs.
How do you apply for jobs under a Provincial Nominee Program?
Identify the province's in-demand occupation list, match your NOC code, target employers physically located in that province, and mention your PNP intent in your cover letter where appropriate.
How do you get your foreign credentials recognized in Canada?
Submit your education to a designated Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) service — WES is the most common. Regulated professions require a separate assessment by the provincial regulator.
How do you transition from a work permit to permanent residence?
Most work permit holders transition through Express Entry (Canadian Experience Class) after 12 months of skilled Canadian work, or through a PNP stream aligned with their occupation and province.
How do you use the IEC Working Holiday to land a Canadian job?
Arrive with an open work permit, target employers comfortable with short timelines (hospitality, trades, tech contract work), and use your first 6 months to convert the job into a PNP or CEC pathway.
How do you use the CUSMA Professional list as a US/Mexican worker?
CUSMA (formerly NAFTA) lets citizens of the US and Mexico enter Canada on a work permit without an LMIA if their occupation is on the approved professional list. No job offer means no permit — the offer is required.
